1.1 What is the expereoOne API?
The expereoOne API (part of the expereoOne platform) exposes APIs to customers, enabling them to integrate their software with Expereo services or create their own applications and portals. The Expereo API is built on GraphQL and returns responses encoded in JSON.
Using the newly developed developer portal, customers can view detailed documentation, test queries with real data, and create credentials for programmatic authentication.
1.2 Why Integrate via API?
Integrating via the expereoOne API provides organizational benefits, allowing customers to:
- Search & Manage at scale their orders, sites, services, and cases.
- Integrate with their own internal systems, such as Asset and Configuration Management Database (AMDB/CMDB) instances like ServiceNow.
- Automate their processes, including CMDB population by importing expereoOne services.
- Save time by incorporating Expereo interactions into existing workflows and reducing duplicate work.
- The system is designed to be Future proof & Scalable.
1.3 Core Capabilities accessible via API
The API provides GraphQL access for Services, Sites, and Support. Through the API, customers are able to:
- List Services and Sites.
- View, Create, and Reply to Cases.
- Retrieve Invoice Lines for the authenticated account.
Warning: The current V1 version of the API is marked as unstable, and the APIs may change.
