Why do I experience slowness when I use the internet?
2 people liked this article
The performance of internet focuses on the connection between your computer and the host (website). This includes searching the world wide web (where the site is hosted), any VPN that may be active; and issues like bandwidth, latency, Jitter, throughput et al, these issues however, are not always measurable.
The connection to dedicated services or low traffic services is defined primarily by the speed of your internet. In contrast, regarding high-overbooked or contention access services, it is mostly the access that determines the performance, in particular package drop and Jitter.
If bandwidth utilization is >90%, you may experience slowness, this could be due to congestion within your local area network.
If you experience slowness and utilization is >90% over a period, discuss upgrade options with your Customer Success Manager.
